Peace and March for Our Lives

Kathy covers a popular topic of hers but in light of the need for a new solution for peace for the individual and in our communities.

Valerie Richardson spoke with artists Alex Schweder and Ward Shelley. Their latest joint performance/installation piece --Your Turn-- has been installed at the Aldrich Museum for the last several months. --Your Turn-- is a 23-foot high wall on which the two artists live for extended periods of time. They each inhabit one side of the wall and must share a bed, toilet facilities, and other amenities of daily living, each of which slides back and forth between the two sides of the wall. The President of the United States is about to remove the nation's embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. The Palestine leadership sees this move as a blow to the peace negotiations and refused to speak with Israel on such matters. The United States president is planning to withdraw Palestinian financial aid in retaliation for them refusing to meet with Israel.
