At the age of 17 Armand served 1 1/2 years in Elmira Prison on juninile charges of safecracking and larceny scharges. While out on probation he and his brothers openned HOUSE OF GUITARS in 1964 in Rochester NY. WPKN posyed his LP as a slection o fhte day and there was a firestorm of comments, obervations and personal stories somehow with a tie-back to WPKN. So I interview Armand, play a 70's commercial for H.O.G. and a track from his LP-A Lot of People Would Like to See Armand Schaubroeck....DEAD.

The Arts Council of Greater New Haven is pleased to announce that $33,700 has been awarded to nine recipients throughout its fifteen-town region. The Department of Economic and Community Development, Connecticut Office of the Arts (COA), developed the Regional Initiative Grant program (REGI) in partnership with its nine Designated Regional Service Organizations. The pilot REGI grant program was designed for grant seekers interested in the creation of small cultural projects that expand equitable access to the creative process and/or creative experiences, especially projects that experiment with new ways to apply the arts within its community.
