Well that's a wrap. WPKN has made the move from what was the University of Bridgeports Student Center to Bijou Square in downtown Bridgetport. Bridgeport Moving Forward: Bridgeport Art Trail 2021

For the last 12 years, November has meant the Bridgeport Art Trail. This year, after 2020, when COVID forced events to go virtual, the 13th BAT will be the biggest ever. In addition to open studios at American Fabrics, The Knowlton, The NEST, and the brand new METRO Art Studios, there are several major openings of key Bridgeport cultural organizations: the ribbon-cutting opening of METRO, the move-in to brand newly renovated space over the Bijou by WPKN itself, and a brand-new exhibition space downtown for the Mary & Eliza Freeman Center.

We mourn and celebrate the life of Guy Beardsley who died Tuesday at St. Vincent's Hospital in BPT. I am joined by Suzanne Duesing, Bev Corvino and Vincent Kaye as we do what Guy would have wanted: keep the ball rolling. We can hear him saying: "Good show!".

Host Mike Merli speaks with Civil Rights Attorney Alex Taubes and Bryan "Love" Jordan.

After spending 15 years in prison, a judge found cause to question Bryan's original conviction, and call for Bryan to get a new trial.

Then, the Connecticut Supreme Court reversed that decision.

Bryan's future is now in the hands of State's Attorney Patrick Griffin, based in New Haven.

Griffin holds the power to grant Bryan release since he has already served 15 years on a conviction that was questionable at best.
