Call in to 1-900-SHAMELESS to find out what Billionaire Ted is up to this week! In this episode of Wrasslin' Raw, the boys see the "debut" of Stone Cold Steve Austin in an amazing match against Savio Vega, some comedy relief from a possibly-rabid Phineas when the Godwins wrestle, and what amounts to a handicap match between Yokozuna, Owen Hart, and the British Bulldog when the Undertaker goes Diesel hunting. We've got a new Jobber of the Week, so Ryan brushes off the ring rust and delivers!
It's the Wrasslin' Raw 100th episode spectacular! In celebration, Monday Night Raw treats the boys to some great matches between Shawn Micheals and the 1-2-3 Kid, Bret Hart and Hunter Hearst Helmsley, and the Raw debut of Justin "Hawk" Bradshaw. The party continues with yet another fantastic Mankind vignette, and a perverted and predatory 'movie' from Goldust that causes Ryan and Jason to stop and examine their tastes. Oh, and it's official, we'll get the ULTIMATE WARRIOR at Wrestlemania XII!
Who doesn't want to play Rowdy Roddy Piper's bagpipes? In this episode of Wrasslin' Raw, the boys take a gander at a subpar episode of Monday Night Raw, with matches featuring Ahmed Johnson and Yokozuna. There's another fantastic Mankind vignette, and a concerning Jake the Snake Roberts match. Vader's run-ins aren't making the kind of impact they were before, but the news of an upcoming Iron Man match gets everybody popping their asses off. Wait, did Jason really say that about Marty Jannetty?
And what about the ULTIMATE WARRIOR?? In this episode of Wrasslin' Raw, Vince name drops the Ultimate Warrior and then never follows up on why. The boys get to look at a good old-fashioned finish between Razor Ramon and Goldust, some underwhelming Vader action, and the Undertaker in a match against Tatanka. Things begin to heat up with the transition from Ringmaster to Stone Cold, and the penultimate Mankind vignette, featuring George the rat, is here for all to see and love!
Wait, Yokozuna can speak… English? In this episode of Wrasslin' Raw, the boys get to watch In Your House 6, the Rage in the Cage! Shawn Michaels and Owen Hart have a predictably great match, Duke the Dumpster Droese has a predictably dull match (despite Hunter Hearst Helmsley doing his best to make it work), and Razor Ramon and the 1-2-3 Kid have their much-anticipated Crybaby Match. All this and highlights from the Wrestling Observer, on the road to Wrestlemania 12!
Leave it to Vince to make a gaffe about rape! In this episode of Wrasslin' Raw, the boys examine the go-home episode of Monday Night Raw, leading into In Your House 6. With very few negatives in this show, the positives are on display: Diesel, the British Bulldog, Yokozuna, and Shawn Michaels all have a great match, as well as the 1-2-3 Kid and Hakushi. Vince's petty assault on WCW continues, though. Attention all shareholders of Wrasslin' Raw: we've been spending your money on Slim Jims!
Hey y'all, this is my cousin Phineas! In this episode of Wrasslin' Raw, Jason's nostalgia button gets pushed hard as the expanded Godwinns debut as a tag team against the Bodydonnas, Diesel and the British Bulldog Davey Boy Smith duke it out, and Shawn Michaels takes on Yokozuna. With the arrival of old favorites (Rowdy Roddy Piper) and the start of a new era (Mankind), there's plenty to see here folks! Have a nice day!
What time is it? It's Wrasslin' time! In this episode of Wrasslin' Raw, the boys witness the solo debut of the man they call Vader- and Gorilla Monsoon's faceoff with him! Savio Vega helps Vader get over, Razor Ramon and Hunter Hearst Helmsley have a great match, and Goldust versus Bret Hart works well too. The groundwork gets laid for some great storytelling, and Doc Hendrix gets a band to play air guitar with. If you're a Playboy Playmate, Jerry Lawler has some Iraq War Medals to show you!
And now, the moment you've all been waiting for- Dory Funk, Jr.! In this episode of Wrasslin' Raw, the boys get into the 1996 Royal Rumble. This first Pay Per View of 1996 had some standout moments and matches, including a great match between Razor Ramon and Goldust (with mystery woman!), exciting Rumble entrants like "The Ringmaster" Steve Austin, and the much-referred to return of Shawn Michaels to the ring. The Bodydonnas get a new member, and we get new camera angles of Sunny... WHOAAAAA!
Is that a microphone in your pocket, or are you just happy to be here with us? In this episode of Wrasslin' Raw, the boys take a look at the go-home episode of Monday Night Raw, leading into the 1996 Royal Rumble. The Smoking Gunns make a brief appearance, the Ringmaster debuts in action, and we get to see more of Sunny than we've ever seen before. Goldust and Razor Ramon have a backstage brawl, and Marty Jannetty isn't as energetic as usual - maybe he needs to get with Doc's source?
