This week, Mat and Chris are talking about both WWE and AEW's PPV preshows, the Kickoff Show and the Buy-In respectively. While they both provide some form of entertainment prior to a major wrestling event, they both have serious problems, and the Wrestle Buddies have a few ideas on how to improve them both.

Ahead of AEW's Double or Nothing, Chris and Mat do some quick predictions of the matches--without PredictionBot's help. And then, Mat receives an interesting email from a listener claiming to be a better Wrestle Buddy than they guys are, so Chris and Mat play the Newlywed Game in order to prove they know each other. But that doesn't matter, the person who emailed them, Dog Dad Lawyer, comes on the show and ruins the episode.

Adam Cole returns for pretty much the entire episode, and much like his last appearance, we're talking video games--and a little bit about his Halo gear from AEW Revolution. Cole's most recent addiction is to Elden Ring, and he talks about why he loves it so much. Of course, we also talk about the Halo TV show and Cole's favorite game growing up. No, he still hasn't played Little Nemo: The Dream Master for the NES.
