Wrestle Plug Podcasts

We can now officially say we have a podcast for EVERY DAY of the year! And what better way to celebrate that than with Nick Payne returning to the podcast and causing an audio car crash of hilarity, offensive content and a review of AEW's last PPV of the year Full Gear. Not for the weak of heart this one. Now I know why Nick isn't on that often any more.

South West Wrestling? OOH go on then. We are back again to discuss our good friends Reach Wrestling as they close out their current era of wrestling at Bodmin Jail with the aptly named show Prison Break. A stacked card as always saw a plethora of BritWres' best including PJ Jones, Dick Riley, Los Santos Federales Jr, Beano, Dani Luna (I'm exhausted just thinking about all that!). Listen in as Steve and Amer cover all the action as always. No podcast covers the SW as we do and with the fervent passion and excitement that we bring. Get onboard the best indy scene in the U.K!

THE TIME MACHINE IS FIXED, at least we think it is but before we journey home, Amer and Steve say goodbye to 2001 and the Alliance angle with WWF Survivor Series 2001. Who will reign supreme and survive the war of brand supremacy? Will we ever see two huge companies go head to head on any given weeknight again? (That would be insane right guys?!) Can Paul Heyman finally be nice to J.R and will Test finally get the credit he deserves?

The end of our Alliance Angle is a detailed one as we cover the PPV and also discuss why this angle isn't necessarily as bad as people remember it

It's Thursday! That means it's time for your weekly dose of wrestling conversation as we cover the week's topics with a relentless and unflinching opinion. This week Amer and Steve address Jim Cornette's latest episode of idiotic behaviour and NWA's response to it. The lads also cover all the nonsense and brilliance of NXT x AEW, Cody's incredible promo, Crown Jewel NONSENSE involving grounded planes and Impact Wrestling THRIVING DESPITE THE HATERS!

We also announce the updated bracket for #WrestlePlugPVP and explain the rules again for all you gems.

A fantastic podcast full of our usual ferocity and hilarity. #GETPLUGGEDIN

A cheeky Brucie bonus for you this week as Amer sat down with Alex to review last Sundays LATC74 emanating from Londons famed Cockpit venue. A bumper card which saw some stellar matchups including Senza Volto vs Robbie X, Carlos Romo vs Kyle Fletcher and the Southside Wrestling Entertainment Tag Team Titles on the line. #GETPLUGGEDIN

This time machine must be wrecked because we are still in the Alliance angle and for some unholy reason we are in the United Kingdom just up the road from our homes. So 16-year-old Amer and 14 years old Steve are amusing themselves watching The Rock talk about European pastry, William Regal discussing Joey Barton's future home and Paul Heyman literally going full Donald Trump as pertains to the female organs!

Its still 2001 and Manic Mondays once again is back as always in its weekly spot to review some old school wrestling. This week it's a Brucie bonus as we cover the previously unaired in USA PPV that was WWF Rebellion 2001 live from Manchester, England. Enjoy gang

A blockbuster podcast this week as Amer and Steve discuss all of the latest wrestling topics including the Jordan Myles scandal and WWE's huge issue with racial equality, WWE's big ratings drops, Seth Rollins and the fans, the first-ever women's match in Saudi Arabia at Crown Jewel, AEW vs NXT and the potential return of Renegade Pro Wrestling on the South West wrestling scene. #GetPluggedIn

Time Stamps:

Jordan Myles and WWE racism: 02:32WWE ratings drop: 30:58WWE Crown Jewel: 38:22AEW x NXT: 47:28Renegade Pro Wrestling: 1:17:10

Steve and Amer are still stuck in 2001 for the Alliance angle so the Manic Mondays continue with No Mercy. Its October and Kurt Angle is regressing in character and hat size, Austin's wife is a master interpreter, William Regal has become the Alliances MUM, Jericho wins the big one and lingerie gets TECHNICAL!

Its Monday and that means its time to wash away those early-week blues with our weekly retro review of wrestling. We are continuing the Alliance angle to the end and in WWF No Mercy 2001 we have a sneaky BANGER. Jericho vs The Rock for the WCW Title, RVD vs Austin vs Angle for the WWF Title and Vince McMahon ferociously fapping in the corner over a lingerie match. Have fun and let us know your thoughts and feelings on the matter at hand. #GetPluggedIn

Flying solo this week, Amer discusses NXT including THAT heel turn and AEW Dynamite with TWO Match of the year candidates and how brand loyalty is stupid. He covers Impact Wrestlings Bound for Glory from the past weekend as well as discussing the hot topics from the wrestling news including "Amers 5 ways to improve WWE Video games", why Seth Rollins needs to shut up and his respect for Darby Allin.

The Wrestle Plug time machine remains in 2001 and after the tragedy of 9/11 WWF needs to lighten the mood. Perry Saturn can no longer get splinters in places that should never see splinters. Undertaker and Kane combat a roid monkey and a Canadian ballad legend, A Hurricane represents all of Europe and Kurt Angle is set to become MASTER OF AMERICA!

It can only mean one thing and that's the fact that the horror of the working week has begun but FEAR NOT WRESTLE PLUGGERS for we have a distraction for you as always in Manic Mondays, our retro wrestling podcast that takes a journey through yesteryear to comically review past PPV's chosen by YOU
