The year is 2001. 2 plus 2 is THOMAS JEFFERSON SUCKA, RVD is high....up a ladder, Stephanie McMahon is clad in PVC guilt, DDP is channelling his inner (Redacted) and there still isn't anyone BETTER THAN KANYON!

Our weekly Monday review of retro wrestling continues as we cover the next in the Alliance angle PPV's: SummerSlam 2001. A PPV headlined by Angle vs Austin and Booker T vs The Rock and stolen once again by the Hardcore Title. We hope you are enjoying our coverage of this much-maligned era of wrestling and continue to #GetPluggedIn

The year is 2001. Vince needs THE OLD STONE COLD, Shawn Stasiak is ruining the family name, it turns out there is nobody better than Kanyon and despite a lot of bitching this era is actually far better than advertised. Join us as we begin a new Manic Mondays journey and cover the Alliance angle in all its glory from the thunderous buyrates of Invasion to its inevitable death at Survivor Series 2001 as WWF brought the dream scenario of a WCW/ECW invasion to life. ENJOY

This week State of Wrestling Address is a special one as we celebrate the launch of AEW Dynamite with full coverage of the show courtesy of Amer who was there! We also have TWO surprise guests helping him cover things. One from England and one from the United States!

The year is 1995 and Jushin Thunder Liger has only been wrestling for ten years (what a mark!). Hulk Hogan has an unhealthy obsession with Pasta and African Americans but I'm sure it won't lead to any kind of revelations later down the line. Also, Bossman gets wrestling gear from M&S, Randy Savage historically appears on both broadcasts of Manic Mondays and Lex Luger stumbles across a wrestling show while out shopping for ridiculously baggy shirts.

This week sees the debut of AEW Dynamite on TNT LIVE (Sorry Steve lol) so why not jaunt back with your favourite wrestling podcast that covers yester years content and listen to us tear through the 1st ever WCW Monday Nitro.

Or if you're more of a Sports Entertainment kinda guy and wanna listen to content about Rob Bartlett being a prized bellend change the podcast channel now and listen to our review of the very 1st Monday Night Raw. A historic Manic Monday Night War is upon you!

The year is 1993 and some guy called Vince still has his vocal cords, Randy Savage hasn't "Done that thing" he allegedly did, Paul Diamond is dressed as the inside of an alien condom, Bobby Heenan is a Rabbi and Damien Demento wrestles some scrub dressed like an Undertaker in the main event.

This week sees the debut of AEW Dynamite on TNT LIVE (Sorry Steve lol) so why not jaunt back with your favourite wrestling podcast that covers yester years content and listen to us tear through the 1st ever WWF Raw.

Or if you're more of a WRASSLIN kinda guy and wanna listen to content about where the big boys play then change the podcast channel now and listen to our review of the very 1st Monday Nitro. A historic Manic Monday Night War is upon you!

Every Thursday Amer and Steve discuss the weeks wrestling talking points and this week we delve right into AEW Dynamite and the news that the UK has been slightly mugged off by AEW in terms of where it will be aired and how. We discuss with a large degree of passion and fire the errors involved and what it will mean for the UK market going forward as well as all of YOUR thoughts on the matter! We also discuss local indy shows we'll be attending and some other topics floating around including NXT and Impact. ENJOY

The year is 2005. JBL has a massive chubby for blue chubby, Masato Tanaka baffles modern scientists with his impenetrable skull, Joey Styles works himself into a whooper shoot, gang warfare erupts between Mexico, Japan and suspicious-looking pizza delivery guys and Kurt Angle is allergic to clothes (but not cock it seems).

Join us as we crash our Manic Mondays time machine right through Paul Heymans wall and review the classic WWE driven return of ECW in the form of 2005's One Night Stand. Genuinely one of our funniest and happiest jaunts into wrestling yesteryear. #GETPLUGGEDIN and enjoy gang. We Love You

Its Thursday which means its time for our weekly state of wrestling address where we discuss the weeks wrestling talking points. This week: WWE review including Raw and Smackdown, the return of Brock, NXT debuting on the USA and THE STATE OF YOUR T-SHIRTS BRUV!
