Wrestling Academy

In our most UNSAFE episode to date, Headmaster Michael (he/him) and Homecoming King Samee (they/them) take a look at the rivalry between The Lucha Bros (Rey Fénix, Penta El Zero Miedo) and The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson). Both teams are real life brothers!

We cover this feud when it spanned across PWG (Pro Wrestling Guerilla), AAA (Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide), and AEW (All Elite Wrestling) from 2016-2021

Do brothers make the best wrestling partners? Does Penta El Zero Miedo have the coolest hand gesture Samee has ever seen? Should more wrestlers scare Michael into buying their t-shirts?

Our most unhinged episode to date is dedicated to Becky Lynch and her run as The Man (2018-2019).

Would Becky have been as popular if Nia Jax didn’t break her face? DID Charlotte Flair cross the line with the kendo sticks? Will you PLEASE subscribe to Wrestling Academy on YouTube so Homecoming King Samee (they/them) can put Headmaster Michael (he/him) through a TABLE?

Becky Lynch’s bloodied, broken face will echo into eternity, much like Headmaster Michael’s body will echo through a table.

Here’s the clip of the brawl - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yg49e7oB4lQ&t=151s

In our most ELECTRIFYING episode to date, Headmaster Michael (he/him) and Homecoming King Samee (they/them) take a look through the incredible career of The Rock (1996-2004).

Is The Rock the most charismatic person in wrestling? Who was his greatest foe, Stone Cold or Triple H? Is it time for us to refer to ourselves in the third person? Is “The Sam” here for good?

Wrestling Academy untangles all of those questions and more while we untangle The People’s Champion’s career.

In our most CHRISTMAS episode to date Headmaster Michael (he/him) and self-appointed homecoming King Samee (they/them) are just bringing a little yuletide FEAR to the academy.

Every year, Samee picks one movie to watch every day in the month of December and this year (because they love wrestling so much), they picked Santa's Slay (2005).

Join us on the son of Satan's sleigh as we navigate Hell Township, discover Grampuh's bunker, and curl our way to midnight.

Headmaster Michael (he/him) and Homecoming King Samee (they/them) dig into the long form story-telling of the 18 month long feud between Kenny Omega and Kazuchika Okada at New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW).

What is King's Road style? How did Canadian wrestler Kenny Omega end up in Japan? Would Michael wrestle a little girl?

We answer all these questions and more on this episode of Wrestling Academy, where "those goddamned dropkicks" tell an epic tale.

Wrestling Academy's second episode is a breakdown of Homecoming King Samee's (they/them) very first wrestling event, GCW's Amerikaz Most Wanted which Headmaster Michael (he/him) took them to LIVE December 16th, 2022.

Did Samee join the MDK Gang that night? Will Michael EVER get over Joey Janela's python? Will Gringo Loco PLEASE be our best friend?

For the debut episode of Wrestling Academy, Headmaster Michael (he/him) and Homecoming King Samee (they/them) deep dive into Michael's first encounter with wrestling, the episode of Monday Night Raw that aired on April 12th, 1999.

What hooked Michael for life? Was it Shane McMahon and THE SLAP? Was it The Rock throwing Stone Cold off the Roody Poo Bridge? Was it Val Venis girating a towel off? Was it Vince McMahon protecting Stephanie?
