Today we get back on the WrestleMania bandwagon with number 27 from Atlanta. This 2011 show's nadda-so-good with no clear match of the night (for us). The Rock hosted, and we did get some Stone Cold albeit alongside Michael Cole. Notably and sadly it was also Edge's last match.

This week we checked a couple of this years most buzzed about matches: Zack Sabre Jr vs A-Kid and Devlin vs Walter. Both were very good and definitely worth your time. After the break we take a look at what occurred before the big WWE career moments of Stone Cold Steve Austin in a segment called, "The One Before the One."

Lots of WWE content this week as we discuss NXT War Games and Survivor Series. To no surprise Take Over War Games was an excellent show. Here we run through all the matches and pick our match of the night--BRO! Survivor Series over delivered our low expectations with great matches from Charlotte/Ronda, cruiser weights, and the main event.

NJPW's Power Struggle was a strong show with a great second half, minus of course Taichi's match. We go through each bout and include some of the following topics: bad finishes but only teasing them, guys and their "spray" gimmicks, and Jericho's year in New Japan. 

After the break we look at episodes three and four of NXT UK. Danny Burch had some great promos and Zack Gibson/Noam Dar had a very good main event. Some topics include: count outs, continuity, formulaic matches, and crowd singing.

WWE held their first ever women only network special/PPV and boy (girl?) did it deliver. Yes we know the bar is very high (ha!) for WWE, but Evolution was their best show of the year and featured one of the best WWE matches of the year in Becky vs Charlotte.

This week we're talkin' the opening two nights of NJPW's Road to Power Struggle (10.16 & 10.17). The young lions kicked it off with a heck-of-a-match and that first night was bookended by a great debut for Shingo up against Sho and Yoh.

After the break we get to 'THAT' episode of this year's Mae Young Classic. Unfortunately Tegan Knox suffered a bad injury but we did figure out who the final four women would be. 

Lastly, we break down the premiere episode on WWE NXT UK.

Today we're looking at gimmick matches, but we mean that in a good way--they're different from your everyday one on ones or tag teams and are often very entertaining. The first two are boiler room brawls, one from Major League Wrestling and the other being the well known Undertaker vs Mankind from Summerslam 1996.

After the break we discuss MLW's Battle Riot that took place this past summer. There were some fun, surprise entrants and some different rules than your normal battle royal.

In the first part of episode 109 we're talking about WWE's recent foray into Australia. The view on this one is "thunder down under" and "blunder down under". There were some improvements over last show and a couple of good matches but was it enough?

Next we go north to Japan for NJPW's King of Pro Wrestling show. There wasn't a definitive match of the night but it was a good show with a fun Junior championship "belting" and the debut of a new Los Ingobernables member!

We finish the Destruction tour with a wrap up of the three big shows: Hiroshima, Beppu, and Kobe. Topics include: trouble in Chaos, Omega/Ishii, Kushida/Bushi, and Tanahashi/Okada.
