Eric Steinman is a writer, editor and journalist living in the Hudson Valley. He has been a contributor to The New York Times, Bon Appetit, The Wall Street Journal, Playboy, and many other publications, both online and in print. He has covered the culinary and agricultural scene over the last decade or more, in addition to writing about culture, art, and social movements. He has interviewed chefs, celebrities and great minds alike, including Ruth Reichl, Michael Jordan, and Paul Hawkin. In 2008 he co-founded, as editor, the quarterly regional magazine Edible Hudson Valley, which he ran for nearly a decade and covered food, history, and agriculture in eleven counties throughout the Hudson Valley.
