In this episode, Tarah had the pleasure of speaking with Congolese Author, Nongo Mokonzo. Nongo talks about her book that has become an international sensation Animals Of Our Land. In this book, Nongo teaches  children how to properly pronounce animals names in the African Language Lingala. 

Nongo shares her writing journey, gives us a beautiful depiction of the Democratic Republic of Congo as well as the obstacles that she faced. Nongo's book has been read by readers all over the world. We are excited for her future and thankful that she decided to join us. Tune in!  

In this episode of Writers Tribe Tureka Moore, talks her about her long awaited writing journey. In 2010, inspired by a sermon in church, she decided to pursue a dream that was lying dormant in her, writing a Fiction Novel. Embarking on a journey of this magnitude takes lots of patience and perseverance. 

Jasmine spent the better part of 10 years in witchcraft. She was heavily into astrology, crystals and other things that brought her did not bring her peace or joy.  She talks about her deliverance from these things and her freedom in Christ. 

Psalms 45:1 states: My heart is overflowing with a good theme; I recite my composition concerning the King; My tongue is the pen of a ready writer.

Writing is an amazing gift to have. Many people express God's goodness on paper. Songwriters play a pivotal part when it comes to worship. 

We sing songs that were birthed in the secret place of the Most High for generations to come. 

In episode 6 of Writers Tribe, I had the wonderful opportunity to speak with Singer and Songwriter TJ Lents. He is a true worshipper of God with the heart of a pastor.

In this episode, Patricia continues the conversation about what inspired her to write her book. She talks about her family's reactions and her response to their questions. One of the most interesting things that we discussed is how everyone was under the impression that her dad was present in her life, only to find out that was not the truth.

There are so many things in life that demand our time. If you are truly passionate about something, you will carve out the time to accomplish your goals. Do not allow time to dictate whether or not you will complete the story that is brewing on the inside of you. 

Whatever stage that you are in, you might ask yourself why am I doing this. Tarah explains her why. This episode will inspire you to find your why and to keep going regardless of the circumstances surrounding you. Keep writing, keep going. Allow your why to be an anchor.
