Jennifer McEwen launched the Town of Hilton Head Island’s first Office of Cultural Affairs and has developed and enacted strategies around using arts to expand the creative economy with a focus on increasing education offerings, improving the quality of life for residents and increasing cultural tourism efforts

Midnight Ace Book Bar created this space to provide a comfortable place where we can enjoy some literary adventures, virtual wine tasting, and pairings, as well as cigar etiquette. Stephanie started writing as soon as she could hold a pencil steady. At her alma mater, Washington College - a small liberal arts school in Chestertown is renown for its writing program, she studied English and Creative Writing was fortunate to be named winner of the 2001 Sophie Kerr Prize, the largest undergraduate literary award in the country. Her inspiration to start Salt Water Media evolved from her love of writing and her own experiences with publishing her novel, Crossings.

Austin is the president of the Columbia chapter. He is a novice writer, but a great leader for the Columbia chapter of writing. They have many informative sessions, on the craft of writing, as well as support.
