Virgil Peck joins us in the studio tonight to talk about his run for KS District 15 State Senate.  He talks about what's going on currently with the State budget, and he discusses the Governor's recent executive order regarding the number of people allowed for religious gatherings and funerals.

We had call-ins today from several people in the music industry to chat about how COVID-19 is effecting them. We hear from Steve Burton (DJ with KOUJ 107.1), Donnie Miller (Donnie Miller and the Rude Awakening), Tater Johnson (J-Birds, Tater Vision Records, and formerly with 10 Years), Marco Pera (Amongst the Giants, currently playing bass with Disciple), and Jarob Bramlett (The Protest).   

Dr. Correll called into the studio this morning to give us a quick update on USD 445's plan moving forward.  We discuss the continuing education plan the district has been working on and answers some of our end-of-year questions.  

Today, several people call in from around the US, all the way from Oklahoma to North Carolina, to chat about how COVID-19 is effecting their lives.  We even have a special call in from Coyle Fleetwood, Stump Removal Expert.

Tonight we chat about everything from OJ Simpson to COVID-19 to our society's declining family structure.  We celebrate National Whiskey Day and enjoy our typical Friday Night Chat.

Charles Byrd with VFW 1186 in Independence, KS, came into the studio to tell us about an upcoming event they're doing called the Veteran's Round Up to help veterans navigate the application process to gain access to their benefits.
