This week we wrap up a GREAT season of Survivor 42 by recapping the 3-hour finale! We share our thoughts on the final 5, where the final castaways went right and wrong and what we think of the winner! And a special congratulations to Kayla, the crowned winner of this season. It’s time for a movie review episode and this week we are getting wEiRd! Our theme is all about weird movies and we each gave each other a film by the king of strange himself, Alex Garland. Justin brushes up on his biology and enters the shimmer with his review of Annihilation (6:33). Kayla ponders human consciousness, robot ethics, and Oscar Isaac’s dance moves with her review of Ex Machina (21:05). As always, we end with our SOTW!

We chat about Lindsay’s growing wins, Mike’s annoying turn, Jonathan’s lucky break, Omar’s overconfidence, and Maryanne’s episode of glory!

“That doesn’t happen to most people, and you have an annual count.” This week in Survivor we chat about Jonathan’s hangry state, Omar’s plotting, Drea’s major slip, and Lindsay’s risky decision. We also get into a very spirited debate on current castaway rankings and Kayla says goodbye to her favorite member of her team.
