And to celebrate, we’re talking about the newly released film “The Northman,” directed by Robert Eggers. We talk about our love of Vikings and our historical epic must-haves before diving into what we liked and disliked about the film. As always, we end with our SOTW.

“People say you can’t play this game with emotion, but look at me, using emotions as a weapon.” This week we chat about Drea’s endless Survivor riches, Maryanne’s emotional pleading, Omar’s creative strategy, and at last, a member of Kayla’s team is sent home.

This week we are chatting about the first 3 episodes of the Disney+ Marvel series ”Moon Knight.”(1:04) and 5 episodes of Hulu’s true crime drama “The Girl From Plainville.”(25:54). “Expected? No. Surprised? No.” This week in Survivor, we chat about merge chaos, Tori’s lucky win, Hai and Omar stepping up their gameplay, and the voting blindside. Kayla gloats her way through the teams update, and Justin puts all his coconuts on his last remaining two players.

“Do or do not. There is no try.” This week we are reviewing Hulu’s The Dropout, a miniseries about Elizabeth Holmes and the rise and fall of Theranos. We chat about our favorite scenes, actor portrayals, where the show went right and wrong, and much more. (5:22) And as always, we end with our SOTW. (48:40)

Later on, Kayla is filled with sinister glee recounting her team’s victories and Justin continues to mourn the loss of his dearest Jenny Kim.

It’s time for a movie review and this time we are discussing a controversial one: White Savior films. We have an interesting debate on what makes these films problematic before reviewing our picks. Kayla heads to a baseball diamond in Chicago to settle some bets and review the film Hardball (26:20) while Justin drives to the 1960’s Deep South to discuss the academy nominated film, Green Book (43:10). As always, we finish with our SOTW (1:11:50).

“There’s no more kumbaya. It’s more like crapbaya.” This week we are chatting about Jonathan’s goliath sized target, Ika tribe’s messy fallout, Daniel’s swarley-ness, and much more. Our teams remain safe this week, but a member of Kayla’s team barely escapes the danger zone.

“You just got slapped…across the faceee” We were still reeling from the wild events at this year’s Oscars but we still recorded a new episode right after the show. This week we recap the highs and lows of the 94th Oscars, the winners, that SLAP, and who won our bet! As usual, we end with our SOTW (39:12).
