In this episode my roommates, Aly and Lily, join me to talk about life in our twenties. Both in graduate school, they give their insight and advice on navigating life (from relationships to jobs) post graduation. We also talk about things that have changed for us from childhood and adolescence to now, as well as our favorite part of this period of our lives so far.
Mateo Florez is back and this time we are talking about hyperindividualism; a trend we see here in the United States as the individual mindset becomes more extreme. The focus on “I” is something we see as potentially toxic to ourselves and our communities, we talk about how it came to be, why it persists, and what we hope will shift in the future.

We all sometimes become victims to our habits which become ingrained and train our brain to think a certain way about a certain thing. We then create the same experience over and over. Sammi Todaro joins me to talk about being stuck in old habits (from being a teenager) and how we think you can begin to overcome this. We talk about why we get stuck with the voice of an angsty teen controlling our responses, and what are some simple ways to become who we want to be, and not who we are expected to be (based on the past). Join us to explore this topic from our perspective as two college students trying to break old habits and make new ones.

In this episode, Gaetano Micalizzi and Aiman Salih return to propose the topic of “What Defines a Man’s Worth?”. We explore the contextual elements that may change the answer, but also the consistencies across them. Bringing their insight,we get to see through their eyes valuable characteristics, and actions that they believe define a man as worthy. While we focus on their perspective as heterosexual, cismen- we also consider this can expand to a broader philosophy.
