• The Red Wings stay alive in the NHL Playoff race with a 5-4 overtime win over Montreal,  Detroit needs a win tonight in Montreal and need Philadelphia to beat Washington for the Wings to make the playoffs.  
• Tigers fall to Rangers 1-0, Detroit held to 5 hits.   Tigers and Rangers meet this afternoon at 1:10 at Comerica Park. 12:45 pregame on WSJM.
• White Sox fall to 2-14 after a 2-0 loss to Kansas City.   Series continues tonight at 7:40 on the south side.
