Season 3, episode 1: Brave New World

Written by Clifton Campbell

Directed by Anson Williams

It's been ten years since seaQuest disappeared to fight the space war, and the oceans have changed. It's a new tone, a new style, and a new situation for those who return; all delivered by the gravel voice of legendary character actor Michael Ironside. A brave new world, indeed.

Season 2, episode 21 (sort of): Splashdown

Written by Carleton Eastlake

Directed by Anson Williams

Season 2 ends in perhaps the most appropriate way: a brainless action romp whose action is underbaked and overexposed. But it has its moments. Allegedly.

In Syndication continues with an example of our first tv recap show: Sex Archie! We spent seven years discussing and analyzing Riverdale and all I learned is everyone else is wrong about it, fans and haters alike. But we put the show in its context, including looking at previous adaptations of the comics. That's where this episode comes in. Here's the original show notes from 2017:

Welcome to Sex Archie: The Riverdale Recap Podcast

This episode covers To Riverdale and Back Again/Return to Riverdale by Evan Katz; directed by Dick Lowry

Before the CW slathered us in saturated syrup, there was another live-action adaptation. This 1990 NBC Sunday Night Movie ages the crew up 15 years and then puts them right back in the same situations, to awkward and disappointing results. Did Veronica inspire Courtney Cox's look? How much did a stamp even cost back then? WHAT AM A SEX?
