ACIP and DOH Immunization Update The Washington DOH Vaccine Advisory Committee met and voted to recommend the COVID Vaccine for pregnant women and all patients 6 months and older on Friday June 13th. Pharmacists may need to update their CDTAs to allow for more shared decision making and siting state recommendations.

Legislative Update: Wins! HB 1009 adds a 2nd tech member to PQAC, and HB 1186 which allows EDs and HCE to dispensed inhalers and other multi day meds are heading to the Governor's Desk! Also, SB 5794 was amended to uphold the wholesaler's preferential rate. HB 2081 and SB 5815 B&O increases on pharmacy and wholesalers are our focus now. Bill Tracker.
