Okay listen, I'm going to level with you here. I didn't want to go back to listen to this episode and neither could I remember what happened during it. I think there was some fight scenes or something, and a pop idol, and maybe flirting. What is MUCH MORE IMPORTANT is that I spend about 3/4 of the podcast learning about recorders, their history, and their use in modern & classical music. And I discover. The best name for a recorder that there could ever be.

Forgive me, listeners, I still haven't worked out how to use my mic without blowing it the fuck out. 

This episode, we head deeper into both podcast identity crisis and my personal emotional crises, we ruminate on the melancholy nature of birthdays, we experiment further with the FORM OF PODCASTING and we talk about CHAPTER 8 of Tsubasa Chronicle, The Country Where Gods Live. 

Syaoran spends some quality time with his unconscious girlfriend and learns about the existence "good" and "bad" worlds, Kuro and Fai walk around and look at some stuff, nothing in particular actually happens? I think?

The Manga was having some fuckin trouble loading this time so between pages we have a very fun time reading a text about trans textuality and medieval manuscripts. Good luck working out what is going on at any given time! I also talk for extremely too long about the properties of online texts, then do a ???? segment ??? about how the author of the article I read very cool actually.

What The Fuck is Happening in Tsubasa Chronicle is an unhinged  podcast where your host Ray reads a manga to themself. The energy on this one is weird, but what's new??? Also I'm using a different microphone in this one definitely shows, please enjoy.

This episode, I muse upon the nature of and purpose recap podcasts, and thereby demonstrate an unprecedented degree of self awareness, then unravel completely once again into my own internal life. I also talk about the moon like, a bunch. Do you remember when the moon was really big that one time? Nice. 

We receive our first occurrence of seeing characters that we've previously been introduced to, except they're different, and we're very surprised about it even though we've been told several times that it will happen. We discover that Tsubasa Chronicle is a very deep manga about the nature of the soul, actually, and that some people's souls are just better than other people's. As always, I'm back on my bullshit talking about Fai's character more than any of the others, it's normal.  Also, we're treated to an epic ninja fight, it's very cool!

Genuinely can't remember if we have a segment this episode, who cares! 

What the fuck is happening in Tsubasa Chronicle is a something podcast where I talk too much about my life, and also a little bit about Tsubasa Chronicle! You have always liked this. 

This episode, we continue to Not Be Doing So Great, we talk about it excessively, and everybody is wearing goggles. We meet the unimportant character of Exposition Boy, whose purpose is to be generally unimpressive and to do exposition. Then everybody goes to eat okonomiyaki and the expositing begins! There's gangs, more stuff about Kudans, the inherent strength of people's hearts and also WOAH KING TOYA AND PRIEST YUKITO ARE HERE?! Who could possibly have expected this???

We also have a segment called I'M JUST HANGING OUT in which I experiment with podcasting in new exciting forms and positions; not only 'sitting', but also 'lying down'! Then I spiral once again into personal crisis, so have fun with that.

What The Fuck is Happening in Tsubasa Chronicle is a yet another podcast that uses experimentation with the form as an excuse to just not be very good, in which your host Ray reads a manga to themself. We're doing very important work here!  

This episode, I'm still not doing great but have much better energy, I ask why anybody ever reads books that don't have pictures in them, and together we step into CHAPTER FIVE of Tsubasa Chronicle. I talk for absolutely too long about a cover illustration of Sakura while somehow managing not to say anything about it at all, and also talk too much about Fai's characterisation, no reason, it's not like I like him or anything.

What if we talked about whether the apple thing could be Themes of some kind about how we experience things differently even though they have the same name and the same essence? Damn couldn't be me. Not in my Tsubasa Chronicle! I'd rather think about Syaoran's cute little outfit and also THE MONARCHY. 

Also, we finally learn what a "kudan" is, meet a big manta-ray and also a wolf made out of fire. Very cool!

What The Fuck is Happening in Tsubasa Chronicle is a depressive podcast where your host Ray reads a manga to themself. They're fine! They're doing fine! 

There's some terrible energy right from the start on this one and we're gonna spend way too long talking about it (you're welcome) before we move onto the noble purpose of this podcast: reading one chapter of Tsubasa Chronicle. 

Other than having a mental breakdown right at the start of the episode, lamenting about sound sensitivity and Generally Having a Hard Time, we broach the FOURTH CHAPTER of Tsubasa Chronicle.  This week, everybody's gotta help Syaoran because that's where the plot is, I discover some of my foundational fashion influences, agree with myself that rice is delicious, and we almost learn what a "kudan" is, except it's not explained to us what a "kudan" is even a little bit.

This episode, we venture into the SECOND CHAPTER of Tsubasa Chronicle, and I share my opinions and feelings about it even though you didn't ask. We meet two new characters; an edgy ninja who loves to kill and a sad white haired anime boy with a sick back tattoo. We also meet the women in their lives, an underaged (???) princess and a head empty catgirl.

This episode is pretty incomprehensible but it doesn't matter, just let it flow over you. Just know that these three funky fellas (+ Sakura) are gonna travel between different worlds and everything will probably be fine.

What The Fuck is Happening in Tsubasa Chronicle is a pointless podcast where your host Ray reads a manga to themself. It sucks and yet somehow you're still listening to it??? Explain 

This episode, we discover the origins of the project, talk briefly about how the manga was written, read some wonderful Wikipedia entries, and enjoy the FIRST CHAPTER of Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle. Why is it called that? How did our two main characters get inside that Pain Tube? How did baby Syaoran become an architect? HOW old is Sakura? Is anybody going to listen to his podcast? Who knows (nobody).

The whole-ass inciting incident happens, it's long as hell, Sakura explodes into feathers and loses her memories and also her agency, and Syaoran's adventure begins.
