Our guest this week, one "Andrew J. Dickinson" has the hubris to  think they are some sort of authority on the subject. Just because they've done a lot of research, written books and consulted with multiple peers on the console and games of the era. Imagine thinking you could match the host's rigorous copy and pasting from Wikipedia on the topic at hand. Pathetic.

We go back in time to the early 2000s  where there was greed and corruption eating away at the United Kingdom whilst the public were gleefully ignorant and were too busy trying to rid themselves of any shred of decency in some kind of manic race. How things have changed.

This week we look at a dark comedy show which has flown under the radar.  One that liked to stop and point at some of the stranger aspects of society and exaggerated it for comic effect. Only to hit closer to home than was comfortable.

I'll be straight with you here, we were meant to talk about Soul Reaver on this episode but kept getting distracted. We mention the series a bit, kick lumps out of Embracer for playing with our emotions. I keep trying to offend Mick, we talk about the Barras again. To mark the launch of the Lucid Kickstarter today we have the scholar, gentleman and creative gimpanzee Eric from the Matte Black Studio. Once again we have somebody trying to hustle the listener base into throwing money at them. It's pathetic, I'm nearly phoning Ofcom on my own show.
