The National Association of Realtors recently settled a lawsuit that deals with real estate agent commissions. The decision resulted in the National Association of Realtors paying $418 million to home sellers.

Holden Lewis, a senior writer with Nerd Wallet and has been covering the housing market since 2001. The settlement is expected to impact how some brokers are paid, exactly how is still up for discussion. Lewis shares what he's heard from industry leaders.
