Carol Ann LaBounty – daughter of D-Day paratrooper
It’s Memorial Day weekend - a day for
remembrance of those who have died in service to our country. In a matter of
weeks, Carol Ann LaBounty and her family will undertake a journey thousands of
miles away. They’re headed to Normandy, France. This year marks the 80th
anniversary of D-Day, when allied forces stormed the beaches at Normandy in
what was a devastating battle in World War II. Carol and family will honor her
father who made quite a name for himself.

Company, 2nd Battalion, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment assigned to the 101st
Airborne Division of the United States Army better known as the

services; tax preparation services and so much more. Now, the United Way is
making an effort to educate teenagers about the service.
