Bryan Tucker is a 4-time regional Emmy® award-winning documentary filmmaker, and the director of his latest documentary, Lynden, which was released this past August on Apple TV and Prime Video.

Amsa Burke is a sophomore at Howard University, double-majoring in International Affairs and African American Studies. Adopted from Ethiopia at age five and raised in a rural town in northern Washington State, she organized a racial justice march in the summer of 2020 that deeply divided her hometown. Her story is told in the feature-length documentary Lynden.

They both joined Dr. Peterson to discuss more about the latest documentary.

Dr. McKinley Melton is an Associate Professor and Chair of Africana Studies at Rhodes College. Dr. Melton specializes in Africana literature, culture and political movements. Prior to being at Rhodes College, Dr. Melton served as the inaugural Teaching Chair and Associate Professor of English at Gettysburg College.

He joined Dr. Peterson to discuss his Africana Studies coursework at Rhodes College, and work with the Furious Flower Poetry Center.

Dr. Ryan Connelly is a psychiatrist and behavioral health medical director at Independence Blue Cross. He currently works to improve mental health at the Department of Veterans Affairs and the Philadelphia Department of Behavior Health.

He joined Dr. Peterson to discuss the national health epidemic of loneliness.

Bakari Kitwana is a cultural critic, journalist, activist, and thought leader in the area of hip-hop, youth culture and Black political engagement.

Executive Director of Rap Sessions, Bakari has conducted over 150 townhall meetings around the nation on difficult dialogues facing the hip-hop and millennial generations.

He joined Dr. Peterson to discuss the important life and legacy of Dr. Marcyliena Morgan.

Josh Park is the managing director of Per Scholas Philadelphia, an organization that provides skills training to advance economic mobility for individuals across the United States.
