Representative Morgan Cephas has introduced legislation to reverse the trend of maternal mortality and improve healthcare for mothers & children, reduce gun violence and bring dignity to incarcerated women, since being elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in November 2016.
Representative Cephas was elected as Chairwoman of the Philadelphia House Delegation for the 2023-24 session and has served as Co-Chairwoman of the Women’s Health Caucus.
