    In this week's Exconerated segment, we delve into the powerful story of Lance. He spent 14 years wrongly incarcerated for a 1995 fatal shooting. Despite a lack of physical evidence and a witness failing to identify him in a live lineup, Lance was convicted in 1998 and sentenced to life without parole.
    Lance is an active member of the Pennsylvania Innocence Project community of freed and exonerated clients, who has spoken as an advocate for changes to policy and practices that can improve outcomes for the wrongfully convicted in Pennsylvania including advocacy for compensation for people who have been exonerated.
