City Council hosted a Townhall meeting focused on Mayor Cherelle Parker's proposed city budget at the Oak Lane Presbyterian Church.

Gary Cohen is an Emmy and Peabody Award-winning producer of documentary films. He and his company, Triple Threat TV, have produced 11 films for ESPN’s 30 for 30 Film series, more than any other outside production company. Titles include Catching Hell, Requiem for the Big East, No Limits and Small Potatoes: Who Killed the USFL?

Cohen has produced films by Academy Award winners Alex Gibney and Ezra Edelman and other renowned directors Frank Marshall, Mike Tollin, and Alison Ellwood.

He joined Dr. Peterson to discuss The Citizen screening his recent documentary "Philly on Fire" on Tuesday, May 6th at the Fitler Clip Ballroom starting at 5:30PM.

Chris Norwood joined Dr. Peterson for the weekly Critical Commentary with Chris Norwood segment to discuss the democrats and more.

Paury Flowers is the Deputy Director of Mount Vernon Manor CDC, and Keyana Johnson is the Community Development Coordinator for Mount Vernon Manor CDC. They joined Dr. Peterson to discuss a new community land trust, neighborhood plan and services offered by the Mount Vernon Manon CDC Neighborhood Advisory Committee.

Senator Anthony Williams represents District 8, which includes parts of Delaware County and Philadelphia County. He joined Dr. Peterson to discuss his upcoming meetings with the federal government about the urgent need to restore environmental justice funding.

Joe Radosevich is the Vice President of Center for American Progress’ Campaigns and Outreach Department, where he works across teams to advance the organization’s priorities with external partners and elected leaders. He joined Dr. Peterson on the Center for American Progress segment on Evening WURDs to break down President Trump's first 100 days as President.

Maurice Q. Jones - who is deeply committed to social justice and economic empowerment; and leads several organizations focused on supporting returning citizens including being the Chair of Philadelphia Reentry Coalition, QISM Consulting, and the Reentry Resistance Found. He joins Dr. Peterson to discuss about being a resource in Philadelphia-area reentry programs, and his work as the Founder of PAR Recycle Works.

Dr. Clarissa Myrick-Harris White, a professor of Africana Studies at Morehouse College, is co-founder of the college’s Black Men’s Research Institute and co-principal investigator for the Morehouse Movement, Memory, and Justice (MMJ) Project. She joined Dr. Peterson to discuss Black men's matriculation rates at HBCUs, the return of Morris Brown College and more.
