Dr. James E. Rogers is the Director and Head of Product Safety Testing at Consumer Reports. He leads the food safety and sustainability operations of the organization, including food testing, data analysis, and risk and safety assessments.

Dr. Rogers joins the show to talk about some of the dangerous chemicals that were found in a lot of the popular braiding hair used by beauticians in today's day and age.

Alim Howell is a community activist, and advocate-liaison for two Philadelphia local nonprofit organizations titled “Race for Peace” and “Urban Navigation ''. Additionally, he is a member of “Men of Action Brothers of Faith Incorporated”, which is a youth organization group. They both join the show to further talk about QuneUp, as it pertains to Simone’s experience starting a company, what it's like bootstrapping, and her experience in the Philly startup ecosystem.

Linn Washington Jr., is a Professor of Journalism at Temple, where he is a co-founder of the award-winning Multimedia Urban Reporting Lab. In addition to his Temple degrees, Washington holds a law degree from Yale University. Linn talks to us about the gross incompetence that was displayed by Trump National Security Advisor Mike Waltz and all his top defense people when they discussed war plans on an app called Signal and accidentally included a reporter.

Tara Roberts is a storyteller and explorer known for her work in highlighting the history of the transatlantic slave trade through underwater archaeology.

Tara joins the show to talk about the context behind her book, "Written in the Waters". This book describes insightful information about the Trans-Atlantic slave trade, especially as it has to deal with the middle passage. In essence, "Written in the Waters" is a moving narrative that interweaves personal reflection with the exploration of a crucial and often painful chapter in human history.

Bailey Tippen's character, Sylvie, was essential to the suspenseful end of Pt. 1 as her character was kidnapped, causing the lead character Kimmie (Taylor Polidore Williams) to take matters into her own hands.

Dr. Delana Wardlaw and Dr. Elana McDonald join the show. They are board certified physicians and they are twins. Researchers have found that poor neighborhoods and health care barriers are factors for heart disease for Black mothers. How can we change these outcomes for Black women?
