Dr. David Johns is the CEO and Executive Director of the National Black Justice Collective, and podcast host of “Teach the Babies”. He was appointed the first Executive Director of the White House Initiative on Education Excellence for African Americans by President Obama, has served leadership roles for U.S. Senators and was a past Congressional Black Caucus Foundation Fellow.

Maryanne Christiano-Mistretta is a longtime freelance writer for The Trenton Journal. She joined Dr. Peterson to discuss a new Black history-focused STEM subscription box called “Melanated Neurons”, which teaches students about overlooked Black historical figures and connects those stories to science and innovation.
