  • Episode 115: Want Some Candy?
With another week of slow-moving moments in the world, there were a few entertaining situations that made it into the show. The newest reboot in Hollywood had a trailer drop in Dune. Huw has a couple of thoughts on what they should have done instead. Sam reveals a certain belief in the young Timothee Chalamet and his budding career. The crew feels like there is a little need for talk of baby reveals and the causing of fires. Nate brings up the newest Willy Wonka trend going on and Huw is in his car to St Louis to join in the hunt. We decide to keep a little eye on the situation in Sturgis and the aftermath of Smash Mouth. What's the band you'd be willing to see that would kill you? Then we have a get off my lawn moment talking about the days before we had GPS. The fun time of being lost and not knowing. We end the show with a Nano-minute Newport segment with Sam. Hope everyone is safe and being well out there while the world burns. Wash your hands and wear those masks.

  • Episode 114: One More Thing
Alright, everybody, the crew is back with Nate, Sam, and Huw with this week's show. There is that feeling that we've been here before, but it might just be the Rona. We get some reviews of some TV shows this week at points during the discussion. This takes us down the rabbit hole of streaming services, which we all struggle with at times. Nate takes us down the VMA red carpet this weekend and from the past. We take a look at some eating spots in the local area of certain fame and the idea of what dive bars used to be. Nate gives us a suggestion on another podcast focusing on Saved By the Bell and has the other two interested in the show. While we get another Modesto Minute with Nate and Sam and educating Huw and our listeners. Be safe everyone and be sure to wash those hands and wear your masks.

  • Episode 113: Coming At You In A Modesto Minute
This week is a look back at some changes going on around us in the times. There is a quick walk down memory lane as we reminisce about the altering landscape of the city. This leads us down a quick hole of cancel culture that takes us to who we could cast Nate as in a biopic. How could we start over life at 40 and finding out has been a doctor the whole time we've been talking. What show would not have a moment about the Scrubs podcast and somehow lead us into the RNC. Nate brings in the Modesto Minute a new segment. I don't want to spoil this, but my God this is HPND in a nutshell. We ask you this question to end this, what do you think is a good romcom these days?
Be safe everyone and wash your hands while wearing a mask.

We get a take on the food of St Louis that many of us never get to have. We take a quick look at the DNC convention. There is a moment of Formula Fun that is a new condensed version of the show. Sam gets a moment to fill us in on what is going on with the virtual classroom going on with many of you this year. We almost were able to sneak in that Bubble Boy review but as always we found the numerous conversational rabbit holes that we always do. Somehow leads us into a Madonna themed zoomed party and a discussion no which era Nate should go as. A transition into Halloween makes more sense and a couple of good costume stories from Sam. How do the deaths of certain artists influence their music down the road? Going through a few podcasts that changes the mind of Nate and Sam when it comes to Goop founder Gwenyth Paltrow. Sprinkle in a discussion of Kevin Smith movies, some hip hop and jam bands we have a recipe of randomness that only we can bring to you our listeners. • Episode 109: Emerald Isle Edition
The crew is back and this week we decided to have a guest join us on the show. Sinead Murphy decided to swing on by to talk a little with us about things going on and how they're doing with the COVID. This is a minor part of the show because most of the antics are about Sam going out in the world with the family. Nate returns from his week at a lake house with his family and is put on uncle's duties. This leads us to a Jake Gyllenhal scenario that takes us down a rabbit hole of Taylor swift. There the typical zigs and zags in the episode as Huw is put to the test in fact-checking in real-time. Be safe folks and wash those hands. PS Wear a mask!

Nate wants to fill us in on a situation of fun with a bumblebee. We look at our friends and if we have any chance to survive with those friends, outlook not good. There is a moment where we discuss college championships and odd sports that come with those records. Sam wants to fill us in on the new scenario of homeschooling going forward. We finally have a normal moment talking about certain films hitting their 25 year anniversary. Which leads us down are normal jumps of other stories within the entertainment industry. Thanks again for taking the time to listen to this madness. Have a good week and be safe out there, wash those hands.

  • Episode 107: Nate Dreamed a Dream
The crew is back and Nate wants to have the hour dedicated to one of his favorite musicals. This might have been the case had one member not had any clue or knowledge about the musical. We'll let you take the guess. We somehow find ourselves down a wrestling rabbit hole that is somehow Sam started. We take a quick look at a celebrity passing that takes us into a baseball movie discussion. And Covid brain has kicked in letting the person doing the write up completely forget the rest of the conversations. I think if you're listening to this show you've been there at least a few times. Enjoy the listen and the oddness of our conversation this week. Be safe and wash those hands.

Coming back from the long weekend with a few to zero stories of excitement from a quarantined 4th of July. We start the rabbit hole with Nate reviewing his Dad's review of Hamilton. We look into the world of theater and their struggles with Cats. Still wondering how that is turned into a movie. Transitioning us into bad movies and the podcast Cinephobe.
