Finding from an internal investigation into city officials in Hamtramck accused of misconduct has been released.
The report gathered by law firm Miller Johnson found evidence that Police Chief Jamiel Altaheri violated multiple city policies. That includes allegedly driving a city vehicle after drinking alcohol, destroying evidence, and handing a civilian volunteer a loaded gun. His attorney, Amir Makled of Hall Makled Law, says all the chief ever wanted was to help the city of Hamtramck.
Makled spoke Tuesday with WWJ's Darrylin Horne.
