We all know of Stages I through IV for breast cancer. However, the The Breast Cancer Research Foundation says nearly 60,000 women are diagnosed with Stage 0 Breast Cancer or DCIS (Ductal Carcinoma In Situ) nationwide each year. Dr. Eric Brown, a breast surgeon with the Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute, sat down with WWJ's Christina McDaniel to explain what makes a DCIS diagnosis unique and its controversy in the medical community.
