This weekend is Parent’s Weekend at Villanova, with many fun events happening on Campus! The Naval ROTC Fall Parade will take place at 3pm on Friday, followed by Family Weekend Campus Offerings at 4pm. Then, from 6-8pm the Inclusion Week Carnival and A Capella Showcase will take place. On Saturday, Father Peter will officiate the President’s Welcome at 9am. Next, from 12-2pm, the Multicutlural Student and Family Welcome Reception will take place. Following, there will be a Tailgate on the Green in anticipation for the Monmouth Hawks vs. Wildcats Football Game! On Tuesday, September 20, WXVU Music Director Chris Cokinos sat down with Kaleigh Brendle.  Kaleigh is a Villanova sophomore, a singer and songwriter who has recorded 70 songs to date, and is also a disability rights activist.  Kaleigh talked about how music and singing was such a part of her childhood, how one genre doesn't define her music, and what went into making her EP, Karma.  Kaleigh also discussed about the challenges growing up she and her brother had due to a disability, and the inspiration her mother has provided for advocating for herself.
