Today's passage helps us see that worship places us within an old, old story of grace and calls us to respond by offering our whole selves to the God who loves us so. This week we do both as we come to Christ's table to celebrate his covenant of grace and reconciliation.

This week the Apostle Paul helps us talk about growth by telling us what fruit we should see growing in our lives and how it is grown.

We continue last week’s story and hear Peter’s sermon to the crowd, the first sermon in the history of the Church. Peter tells the story of Jesus the Messiah and urges the crowd to repent and be baptized, to receive the promise of God which is “for you, for your children, and for all who are far away, everyone whom the Lord our God calls to him.”
