Wyrd Mountain Gals

The heat is getting to Byron.  Her doc was astounded by her cholesterol (in a good way!) at her annual wellness appointment.  Alicia gets mad about the state of foraging in Appalachia.  Byron joins her declaring "I'm done with the (crow!) cultural strip mining!

Quote - "Anytine anybody thinks they're safe, that's exactly the time the universe decides to challenge them with something"

Quote - "We're all gonna reap what they've sown"

"A lawyer with a fully developed talent for obfuscation is suddenly put into the position of defending his most important client (himself). The charge: burying a hypothetical lawn mower. An angry hooker, who describes herself as a "para-professional," pours out her heart to the suicide counselor, a man new on the job, answering the telephone at a Manhattan hot-line center. Meanwhile, over on Central Park West, two civilized, upwardly mobile couples straighten out their Byzantine extramarital relationships, not through cool analysis but with a snub-nosed gun.

The Redneck Spectrum

Byron is back home from Wisteria, and the gals proceed to have a lively chat about all the things.  All the things.  Alicia is challenged to define the word "redneck" & Byron comes up with a brillian new idea.  The question is, will it work on Facebook?

*Note-the gals kept this episode upbeat.  We all need a little time off from the world, even if it's just for a few minutes.

"When you don't know what to do, you stick to the plan you already made"

Byron is going to become an "enemy snuggler".  It's not as cuddly as it sounds.  We don't recommend you listen to this raw episode if you need soft & peaceful right now.  Lots of triggers & raw emotions here....

What Is Normal When You're Wyrd?

Byron is travelling again.  She called from PUF & the gals settle in for a good long talk (49 mins).  They talk camping while growing older, comfort products, & Byron's life on the road again.  Alicia wants the inside scoop on Pagan festivals & the questions fly.  Somber words of the Uvalde massacre weave in & out of the conversation.

We hope you enjoy this episode!

Blame It On The Moon

The gals are glad they don't have to get up at "ass o-clock" in the morning to get the woodstove ready for cooking breakfast.  Talk is back & forth-playground antics, bears & their smell, blue clay in Wedgewood, local hurricanes, and more.  They decided to blame most everything on the moon....
