X CHURCH with Tim Moore

WHAT IS YOUR IDENTITY

How do we as individuals and as a church navigate the ever-changing world of gender identity? How much of our identity do we get from our body or mind or both? Where can we start if we don’t understand the terms and struggles?

In this 6th and final installment, Pastor Tim dives into it all - transgenderism, intersex, identity, gender dysphoria and more.

THE PROBLEM WITH PREJUDICE

Racism is one of the hardest things to talk about. Everything is so politicized. And none of us think we have prejudice.

But what if Jesus and the Scriptures have A LOT to say about racism? What if it’s harder to spot than we realize? And what if the solution is closer than we think?

Pastor Tim leads us through another complex issue this week in the fourth installment of IT’S COMPLICATED.

WHAT IS A PERSON?

This week of IT’S COMPLICATED is a sensitive matter.

Abortion.

Pastor Tim helps us put politics and other lenses aside and walks us through history and culture to examine what brought us to these different viewpoints. And then we see what Scripture might have to say.

It’s a foundation-building message soaked with truth and grace.

In part 2 of “It’s Complicated,” Pastor Tim breaks the cardinal rule by talking about religion AND politics.

It’s hot-button but important. What ARE politics? Why do they exist and are they important? How does submission, authority, and sovereignty play into all this? How do think through politics in our current divided and ungodly times? And how important is our response?

Tune in for this mind-shaping, heart-challenging talk.

WE ARE AT WAR

Racism. Abortion. Politics. Gender Identity. Sexuality.

How do we navigate these delicate and controversial topics? Are we hopelessly divided? Does Jesus have a side? What does Scripture have to say about any of these issues? And whatever I believe or think - could I be wrong?

In week 1 of this much-anticipated series “It’s Complicated,” Pastor Tim lays the foundation for where we’re going and talks about how to survive and think through our current CULTURE WARS.

THE RICH LIFE

What does it look like to come to church OPEN-HANDED but not EMPTY-HANDED?

A SERMON ABOUT A SERMON

What if there’s more to a weekly message than what I’m getting out of it? What do I do if I feel like I’ve heard every sermon there is? What if it can and SHOULD be actually changing my life? And… what if all that is more on me than it is on the speaker?

Last week we talked about how we worship. This week we talk about how we receive God’s Word through the weekly message.

If received, this revelation can change every Sunday from here on out. Dive into the message below in week 3 of SUNDAY BEST.

THE 7 WORDS OF WORSHIP

What if there is more to singing songs than we thought? Is it possible we grow up or get used to certain “styles” of singing or expressions of praise, when perhaps Scripture actually has a chest-load of things to teach us? And what if it could change our lives?

In week 2 of SUNDAY BEST, Pastor Tim leads us through a fun, informative and provocative look at the seven Hebrew words for worship and what they have to teach us. It’s one not to miss.
