In our country, the highest value is Freedom. We do everything for freedom. In God’s Kingdom, the highest value is Love. If we are going to represent our citizenship in heaven we must embrace that our love is greater than our differences.

Though we may have an earthly citizenship, Paul teaches us that as Christ-followers we have a heavenly citizenship that is even greater. We want our lives to reflect the kingdom of heaven even here on earth.

We live in culture that will pressure us to follow the current or stand up against it. Having faith at times means we have to choose to make a stand for what we know is right. In this story, we see 3 young men who risk everything to stand up for what they believe.
