However, the shooter’s elevated position should help minimize some bullet drop. A throat shot, if intentional, suggests a skilled shooter, not a novice. Compounding this, the shooter remains at large despite a massive FBI/SWAT manhunt and two detentions (both released after questioning), which, at a minimum, suggests escape planning. I don’t know yet whether it was a professional op. The point is not to get too involved in any one theory because there’s too much unknown. But this much I do: this wasn’t an impulsive crime. It was planned and executed with precision.
