Kristin Robinson is a Texas born artist turned journalist and publicist, and the founder of Amplify USC. Kristin discusses working for 10k Projects and Ourros, two developing independent management companies at different phases in their careers. She compares her writing as a publicist to her songwriting by highlighting the importance of communication, and the process of creating emotion in your writing in order to have your point be received exactly as you imagined. Kristin shares what it was like moving to LA, coming from a very conservative town and household in Texas, and the 'necessity of citing her unbiased sources' when debating with her father. Kristin also gives her perspective that no one is ever really cancelled and touches on the concept of separating the art from the artist. Additionally, Kristin encourages everyone to spread good Karma by supporting their friends, and to try new things by starting their own independent ventures. Intro/ Outro: “Lemonade ft.
