「if they fall away, to renew them again to repentance, since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God, and put Him to an open shame.」　Amen.

  Just as the devil disguised as an angel, the punishment for sin comes pretending to be pleasure. And we spend our time unaware that it is the punishment for sin. So, if suffering comes as a punishment for sin, you will repent immediately, but if it comes as a pleasure, you will not repent. Be careful of the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life

May we know the will of the Lord deeply today as well.

　If my deeds, faith, and knowledge save me, I'm not sure to live. I am ashamed of my deeds, imperfect in faith, and short in knowledge. Instead, when I know that I was saved only by God's mercy because of God's endless love, the peace dwells in me and I can live with peace of mind.

　May we be fulfilled with the peace of the Lord today as well.

　もしも、私の行いや信仰や知識によって救われるとしたら、生きていくのがおぼつかない。行いにおいては恥であり、信仰においては不完全であり、知識においては無教養なものであるからだ。そうではなく、神様の限りない愛ゆえに、ただただ神の憐れみによって救われたと知って、やっと平安が宿り、安心して生きていけるのである。

　今日も、主の平安に満たされますように・・・。

 「"And the King will answer and say to them, 'Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.'」 Amen.

he wheat and the tares are planted mixed. Some are wise women and some are foolish. Similarly, sheep and goats are kept together. But it will be time to separate them. The wheat and the tares are separated at the time of harvest, wise women and foolish ones at the time of the groom's arrival, and goats and sheep at the time of the last judgment. The criteria for the time is written in today's passage.

麦と毒麦は混在しています。賢い娘と愚かな娘も混在しています。同様に、羊と山羊も現在混在しているのです。でも、選り分けられる時がやってくるのです。麦と毒麦は収穫の時に、賢い娘と愚かな娘は花婿が来た時に、そして、山羊と羊は最後の審判の時に選り分けられるのです。その時の基準が今日の箇所なのです。

今日も、主の道を進むことができますように…。

『私は、すでに得たのでもなく、すでに完全にされているのでもありません。ただ捕らえようとして追求しているのです。そして、それを得るようにと、キリスト・イエスが私を捕らえてくださったのです。』

イエス様を捕らえたと思ったけれども捕らえられており、イエス様を知ったと思ったけれども知られており、イエス様を離したと思ったけれども摑まえられています。私たちの思いをはるかに越えた所に神様の思いはあるのです。「伝5:2 神の前では、軽々しく心焦ってことばを出すな。神は天におられ、あなたは地にいるからだ。だから、ことばを少なくせよ。」

今日も、主のみ声を静かに聞き取ることができますように・・・。

 「Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me.」　Amen.

We seem to take hold of Jesus, but He first took hold of us. We seem to know Jesus, but he already knew us. Even though we turned away from Jesus, He won't let us go. God's thoughts go far beyond ours. “Eccl.5:2, Prov. 20:25; Do not be rash with your mouth, And let not your heart utter anything hastily before God. For God is in heaven, and you on earth; Therefore let your words be few.”

May we listen quietly to the voice of the Lord today as well.

「Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you;」 Amen.

  Believing in Jesus has little benefit for you to enjoy life, make money, or recover from illness. Of course, there are several such elements, but to obey Jesus is to crucify your own desires and fleshly lusts. That's why people of faith are few.

　イエス様を信じるということは、単に、楽しい生活が送られるとか、お金がもうかるとか、病人が健康になるとかいうご利益的な要素は少ないのです。勿論そんな要素もありますが、イエス様に従うということは、自分の欲望も肉的な願いも十字架につけることなのです。だから、信仰者は少ないのかもしれませんね。

　今日も、主を見上げながら過ごせますように・・・。
