「Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ」 Amen.

This letter was written by Paul from prison in Rome to encourage people in the church in Philippi. This is a letter written in 60 AD. Paul was an elite. He was a well-educated, well-educated, well-educated, Roman citizen, but he wrote that he wouldn't regret losing all of Jesus when he met him. He writes that he is not as valuable as rubbish, except that he meets Jesus before his death.

右にも左にもそれないで過ごしていくと、幸せになり、長生きするという約束が伴っているのです。神様の約束は必ず成就するものです。裁きの後には救いが、悲しみの後には喜びが、苦しみの後には癒しがセットでやってくるのです。だから、今、苦しみの中にあったとしても、後では喜びの日がやってくるのです。明けない夜はないのです。

今日も、良き神様と共に過ごせますように・・・。

「"Therefore you shall be careful to do as the Lord your God has commanded you; you shall not turn aside to the right hand or to the left.」 Amen.

When we live a life that doesn't turn aside to the right or to the left, we are promised to live happily and long. God's promises are always fulfilled. Salvation comes after judgment, happiness comes after sorrow, and healing comes after suffering. So even if you are suffering now, the day of joy will come later. Even the darkest night will end and the sun will rise.

May a good God always be with you today.

『わたしはそこを彼女のためにぶどう畑にし、アコルの谷を望みの門とする。その場所で彼女は答える。若いころのように、エジプトの地から上って来たときのように。』

第一に、アコルの谷とは何でしょうか。

アコルとは苦しみ、苦痛という意味です。イスラエルが最初ヨルダン川を渡って占領した都市がエリコです。エリコは地中海より低い所にあります。エリコからエルサレムへ上って行く途中にアコルの谷があります。そこはとても険しい坂道で絶壁が囲りにあるような所です。旅人のひとりがエルサレムから下って来て強盗に襲われ、半殺しにされた所がアコルの谷です。詩篇２３篇ではそこを死の影の谷だと表現しています。詩篇８４篇では涙の谷だとも言っています。このような所は先が見えないような所です。

第二に、神様は信じる者に望みの門となってくださいます。

神様は絶望のアコルの谷を希望の門にしてくださると約束してあります。私たちの前も後も横も全部道がふさがれていても、神様は上から希望を与えてくださる良き神様です。(略）

第三に、アコルの谷を過ぎる時、感謝と賛美の歌を歌わなければなりません。

「すべての事について、感謝せよ。」（Ⅰテサロニケ５:18）と神様は言われました。神様は私たちがアコルの絶望の谷で感謝を捧げることを願っておられます

『しかし、【主】を待ち望む者は新しく力を得、鷲のように、翼を広げて上ることができる。走っても力衰えず、歩いても疲れない。』

「【主】を待ち望む者」とは、神様に信頼し、神様に期待し、神様に委ねる人の事です。神様がきっとこの人生の困難から立ち上がる力を与えてくださると信じ切ることです。神様が良き神様であり、私にとって一番良いものを与えて下さると信じ切ることです。そうすると、神様がきっと力を与えてくださるのです。

今日も、主を待ち望むことができますように・・・。

「But those who wait on the LordShall renew their strength;They shall mount up with wings like eagles,They shall run and not be weary,They shall walk and not faint.」　　Amen.

"Those who wait on the Lord" trust in God, expect from God, and entrust to God. Believe that God will surely give you strength to rise from the difficulties of your life. Believe that God is a good God and will give me the best. Then, God will surely give you the power.

May you wait for the Lord today as well.

『【主】は言われた。「必ずわたしはあなたを解き放って、幸せにする。必ずわたしは、わざわいの時、苦難の時に、敵があなたにとりなしを頼むようにする。』

「涙の預言者」と言われたエレミヤは、その生涯において、苦難の連続でした。人から憎まれ、呪われ、見捨てられる事ばかりでした。生まれ故郷でさえ、石を投げられたのです。でも、その事によって神に強く結びつけられていったのです。エレミヤを選び、愛し、決して見放さない神様が、

「エレミヤを苦しみから解き放ち、幸せにする」と約束されたのです。

今日も、主の約束のみ言葉と共に過ごせますように・・・。

「The Lord said:"Surely it will be well with your remnant;Surely I will cause the enemy to intercede with youIn the time of adversity and in the time of affliction.」  Amen.

Jeremiah is commonly known as "the weeping prophet". He had a series of hardships in his life. He was hated, cursed, and abandoned by others. Even in his hometown, he was thrown a stone. But these things brought him an intimate relationship with God. God, who chooses, loves, and never gives up on Jeremiah, promised that "surely I will deliver you for a good purpose"

May the word of the Lord's promise and us be together today as well.

「Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.」 Amen.

God is love and righteousness. So, although he is full of love, he is not the one who overlooks the uncleanliness of sin. But God devised a way for us to come before him because he loves humans. That is, sent his only son Jesus. He covered those who believe in him with a robe of righteousness and made us stand in front of God. He gave the right to become children of God.

May we respond to the love of the Lord today as well.
