『知恵は呼びかけないだろうか。

　英知はその声をあげないだろうか。』

　人生を生き抜いていくのは、厳しいものです。知恵が英知が必要です。でも、自分は頭が悪いからと思ってしまうと、知恵の呼びかけも、英知の声も聞こえないのです。どんなに厳しい時代であっても、成長している会社や個人はいるものです。その人やその会社は、知恵や英知を得るためにアンテナを張り巡らしているのです。あなたの口を大きく開けよ、私がそれを満たそうと主は言われるのです。

　今日も、主に知恵を求めることができますように・・・。　

「Her house is the way to hell,

　Descending to the chambers of death.」Amen.

Proverbs 7 tells us about the sin of sex, the sin of adultery and fornication. The end result is "Descending to the chambers of death." This sin may be fun at first. But gradually it destroys oneself, the other person, the family, and finally takes the person to the chamber of death. Jesus shed His blood on the cross to save those who had fallen into this death chamber.

　May we keep the love of the cross in our hearts today....

『イエスが死人の中からよみがえって、弟子たちにご自分を現されたのは、これですでに三度目である。21:15 彼らが食事を済ませたとき、イエスはシモン・ペテロに言われた。「ヨハネの子シモン。あなたは、この人たちが愛する以上に、わたしを愛していますか。」ペテロは答えた。「はい、主よ。私があなたを愛していることは、あなたがご存じです。」イエスは彼に言われた。「わたしの子羊を飼いなさい。」』　

イエス様は、死んで墓に葬られ、三日目に蘇りました。この事は事実なのです。そして、復活の主に出会った人々は変えられました。力を得る事が出来ました。希望を持つことができました。復活の主は、今も働いておられ、私達と共におられるのです。永遠の命を与える真の救い主であることを証明されたのです。

お祈りします。

愛する天のお父様、み名を崇め感謝します。このイースターの時に、復活の主に出会って弟子たちが変えられたことを示してくださいましてありがとうございます。どんな状況の中にあっても希望がありますから感謝します。すべてを感謝し、主イエス・キリストのお名前によってお祈りします。

アーメン。

 「So there they laid Jesus,

　 because of the Jews' Preparation Day,

　for the tomb was nearby.」　Amen.

Jesus died on the cross at about 3:00 p.m. on Friday afternoon. The Sabbath begins at sundown on Friday. The "they" were Joseph of Arimathea and Nicodemus. They buried Jesus in a new tomb on the west side of the hill of Golgotha. From the despair of death comes the hope of resurrection.

　May we find the hope of the Lord today....

『その日はユダヤ人の備え日であり、

　その墓が近かったので、

　彼らはそこにイエスを納めた。』

イエス様が十字架上で死なれたのが、金曜日の午後3時頃でした。金曜日の日没から安息日が始まります。「彼ら」は、アリマタヤのヨセフとニコデモでした。彼らは、イエス様をゴルゴダの丘の西側の新しい墓に手厚く葬ったのです。「死」という絶望から、やがて「復活」という希望が顕れるのです。

　今日も、主の希望を見出すことができますように・・・。

「And when Jesus had cried out with a loud voice,

　He said, "Father, 'into Your hands I commit My spirit.' "

　 Having said this, He breathed His last.」　Amen.

　Jesus, crowned with a crown of thorns, was led from Pilate's court to the hill of Golgotha, where He was crucified. When Jesus drew His last breath, the heavens were darkened for three hours and the curtain of the temple was torn in two. It was also a sign that Jesus' death had opened the way for man to be restored to fellowship with God. It happened on a Friday afternoon.

　May we remember today that Jesus' cross was for us....

『イエスは大声で叫ばれた。

　「父よ、わたしの霊をあなたの御手にゆだねます。」

　こう言って、息を引き取られた。』

茨の冠をかぶせられたイエス様は、ピラトの法廷からゴルゴダの丘へ引き立てられ、そこで十字架につけられました。イエス様が息を引き取られた時に、天は三時間にわたって暗黒となり、神殿の幕が真っ二つに裂けました。それは、イエス様の死によって人が神様との交わりを回復する道が開かれたことを示すものでもありました。金曜日の午後の出来事でした。

　今日も、イエス様の十字架が私たちの為であったことを覚えることができますように・・・。

 「When Jesus had spoken these words,

　He went out with His disciples over the Brook Kidron,

　where there was a garden,

　which He and His disciples entered.」　Amen.

On Thursday evening, as tradition has it, the Last Supper was held in the upstairs sitting room of the house of Mary, Mark's mother. That evening, about eight or nine o'clock, Jesus went to the Garden of Gethsemane, which is between the Valley of Kidron and the foot of the Mount of Olives. There He said, (Mattew. 26:39) "O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will." It was truly a prayer of anguish.

　May we ponder the Gethsemane prayer today....

『これらのことを話してから、

　イエスは弟子たちとともに、

　キデロンの谷の向こうに出て行かれた。

　そこには園があり、

　イエスと弟子たちは中に入られた。』

木曜日の夕方、伝承ではありますが、マルコの母マリヤの家の二階座敷で最後の晩餐が執り行われました。その夜、八時か九時ごろにケデロンの谷とオリーブ山のふもとの間にあるゲッセマネの園にイエス様は行かれました。そこで、『マタ26:39「わが父よ。わたしが飲まなければこの杯が過ぎ去らないのであれば、あなたのみこころがなりますように」と祈られた。』、まさに、苦悶の祈りでした。

　今日も、ゲッセマネの祈りに思いを巡らすことができますように・・・。

 「And being in Bethany at the house of Simon the leper, as He sat at the table, a woman came having an alabaster flask of very costly oil of spikenard. Then she broke the flask and poured it on His head.」　Amen.

　Wednesday was a day in Bethany. Jesus was at Simon's house. At that time, Mary anointed His feet with costly anointing oil as a preparation for His burial. Meanwhile, Judas the Iscariot was working out a plan to betray Jesus under the High Priest. The way of the cross to save us was getting closer every moment.

　May we draw near to the cross of the Lord today....
