In our absolute funniest episode to date, the trio talks to artist and producer Southpaw Swade about his music career, why he doesn't use his University of Florida film degree, his hilarious Blackronyms idea, and a particular video of his that had many people mad. 

This week we're joined by film director, photographer, and former tour videographer Matt Everitt. The 'Speculate' and 'So Much More' video director tells us how he got into making films, his journey of watching 250 movies in 3 years(!!!) and his reaction when The Academy followed him on Twitter.

This week, Jay is out so DJ Marauder returns as a co-host with Alana and Xavier.  After watching a Wolfgang Puck documentary, Alana leads a discussion on personal motivators and wonders why so often they are negative.  Dj Marauder shares his difficulty in celebrating his successes and Xavier is pissed about Alana's other best friend also named Xavier. 
The crew also randomly make fun of some Nelly lyrics. 

This week we welcome Joy Club member and touring DJ for GoldLink, DJ Marauder. 
We discuss his view on last week's "r&b is back" conversation, sexism against women rappers, and our (late) picks in the NBA Playoffs. Xavier also shares a personal GoldLink story. 

Xavier, Jay, and Alana return in this episode for an in depth discussion of the state of R&B, all of the reasons people ever believed the genre was dead, and the ways they believe it has been revived. They also discuss which artists they consider to be purely R&B and whether or not they'd be open to the return of 90's style R&B groups.

The band is back for the first first ever 'Tour Stories'.  The trio discuss in depth what has happened at the Houston shows in 2017 and early 2020 including how one show almost never happened, the need for song lyric site Genius.com live on stage, and a crowd that didn't care. Also featuring stories from their Dallas and San Antonio experiences. 

Xavier is rejoined by co-hosts Jay & Alana to (FINALLY!) discuss his biggest song to date, Blind Man. Xavier tells us how tumblr was involed, why the song has no video, and why he and producer J. Louis haven't made a song since. The crew shares stories that involve the song as well as discuss some of the negative feedback the song received. 

Xavier invites his band members Josh Greene (drums)  and Korey Davison (bass) as guests/co-hosts of the pod to discuss their journey from dreaming of shows  to becoming touring musicians and all of the crazy stories in between.
