Yet another connection from the great state of Louisiana! Anita Blue and I got together and talked about her military career in the air national guard and how her experiences, as a member of the LGBT community enabled her to realize her full leadership potential. We also touched on her amazon best selling book which can be found on amazon by searching "Breakthrough Success with Anita Renee Blue. Lastly, we briefly explore the concept of servant leadership and why it can be so powerful when it comes to leading a team. Enjoy the podcast!
I sat down with Banff Labour Journalist Jessia Arsenio who is a member of the IWW Freelance Journalists Union. Our connection was quite random and without spilling the beans, we both had some very passionate perspectives of employer provided accomodations and how it can be both a blessing and a burden. Jessia certainly opened my eyes to a different perspective that contrasted my own experiences in staff res and I'm glad we were able to connect. Enjoy the podcast!
I had the pleasure of connecting with Michaela Cox who hails from Texas and now resides in the state of Louisiana. She is certainly no stranger to the world of Academia as she holds a B.A in Sociology and a masters degree in Political science in American Government...not to mention an accomplished author with 7 titles currently published...and all the while being legally blind to boot. We cover a lot of ground as we talk about her experiences with her disability, her experiences with divorce, death, and also being a single mother while attending grad school. Michaela was an absolute treat to talk to and she shares a great message near the end that can certainly help us all on this journey of change. Enjoy the podcast!
I had the esteemed pleasure of reconnecting with Sandy who was an old work friend from the 1st round Kananaskis days. Sandy shared her stories of divorce, death, poverty, while we both shared our experiences with suicide and how it all led to her to her life now as a successful entrepreneur and a soon to be published author. There’s also a few other tidbits in there but I’ll let you find out for yourself. Enjoy the podcast!
Tonite we welcome a very special guest whom I have had the pleasure of knowing for well over 15 years. After a bit of banter and catching up time, we talk about all the changes and challenges that Lysa has faced both personally and professionally. We also dive into her diagnosis of MS and the ongoing journey of managing her condition. All in all it was great time catching up with Lysa and we hope you enjoy the podcast!
I got together with my good friend Chris who lives all the way in Australia. We've known each other for over 14 years. Over the time that I've known him, he has been through quite the ride, not only with his family struggles, but his own personal demons. Chris is one of the most resilient people I know and I'm glad he was able to share a few insights on how he was able to overcome the various challenges in his life. Enjoy the podcast!
Check out my thoughts on self discipline and if approached in a certain way, it can help you to realize the change you have been seeking.
Please welcome Barrymore Scott as the Xranue Podcast's very special first guest. This is a bit of deviation from the usual format where we engage in very random conversation with no real theme or subject. It's kinda like all dressed chips....the overall experience is wonderful...but can't really dicipher all the flavours. Hope you enjoy!
