Fr. Emmerich was born in New Britain, CT, the younger of two children. He entered the Dominican Order at St. Albert Priory in 1971 and was ordained a priest in 1978. He taught at Marist High School in Eugene, Oregon, Daniel Murphy High School in Los Angeles, and Holy Rosary College in Fremont, California. For many years he worked for Western Dominican Preaching, giving parish missions and retreats. For 24 years he has worked for Mother Teresa's Missionaries of Charity, giving retreats and seminars throughout the world. In January 2007 he was elected Prior Provincial and currently resides at St. Albert Priory in Oakland.

2. Dr John Obeid

Dr John is a Consultant Geriatrician and is a Senior Staff Specialist in Geriatric Medicine and Stroke at Blacktown, in the Mt. Druitt Hospitals. He is also a senior Visiting Medical Officer at Fairfield Hospital, is the Director of Medical Services at The Hills Private Hospital and is a Federal Councillor for the Australian and New Zealand Society for Geriatric Medicine.

3. Dr Jovina Graham

Dr Jovina is a regular at TOT and served on team for the first years of its beginnings. She studied as an Undergraduate at University of Sydney in Liberal Studies before studying Medicine, graduating in 2010. Dr Jovina has volunteered for 12months at the Life, Marriage and Family Office for the Catholic Archdiocese of Sydney. For the past 2 years she has worked as a Doctor and has a particular interest in life issue and has done much work in cancer and palliative care.
