Y0uC4n7Kn0w the tea!

AUs, Self-Inserts, Omegaverse. Luna welcomes Star into the wonderful world of fan fictions as we go over what we know about the increasingly popular writing form. From our personal history with fanfics (dating back to fanfic.net) to what fanfictions have become and mean; to popular terms--You Can't Know talks about it all in this episode as we contemplate: why do people fanfic?

Trigger warning for everything under the sun. As we talk about most popular themes that would most certainly be tagged as Dead Dove: Do Not Eat.

From disappointingly angsty teenage Light to blown-out-of-the-water adorable Luffy; Star and Luna spend today's episode talking about all the good and all the (incredibly) bad live-action adaptions.

Whether it's the horrible Dragon Ball movie to the recent netflix adaptions such as One Piece and Avatar that have been well received, we walkthrough some of most iconic adaptions and what we thought of them.

The Crunchyroll Anime Awards. A fancy event filled with celebs, streamers, and fans--and a COMPLETELY twisted popularity contest that we disagree with. As bloggers, we host our own anime awards that highlight as many new anime as possible, but this year we decided to take a different approach and ROAST the Crunchyroll awards. Full steam ahead as we talk about why hit anime like One Piece, Demon Slayer, Jujutsu Kaisen and more SHOULDN'T get to sit atop a gilded throne.

There's an L cosplayer to your left. A free hugs sign to your right. Directly in front of you: a glomp circle. If you've ever wondered about what cons may have been like in the 2010s, this is the episode for you--well sort of.

In this episode, we share our personal experiences from behind the curtain of what it is like being a staff at an Anime Convention from when we started in 2012 to now in 2023. We bring up trends that have since died and should stay dead, tips and tricks for people beginning to go to cons, and what lengths it took to get to this point.

For those of you con-going veterans who were there in the dark times, this should be nostalgic for you as we take a stroll down memory lane in the early days of conventions on the West Coast.
