Greetings. In our third episode, Tithing - Ten Percent, Time or Talent, we will cover what is tithing, how much we should tithe, and why tithing is such a sensitive and taboo topic. We also go deeper into tithing when we are struggling financially, including tithing while in debt and giving what we can.
Our guest, Reverend Mitchell D. Tull Sr., brings us a wise and insightful lesson on tithing during this episode. Rev. Tull received Christ at an early age while attending Friendship Methodist Church. He was educated at the Lear Siegler Institute in Washington, DC. for Drafting and Computer Programming, and completed his seminary training at the United Baptist College and Seminary, Baltimore Md., 2011. He retired from the Army after 22 years of service. In October of 2009, Rev. Tull was ordained and given full right to Minister in the Vineyard of the Lord. He continues to serve in the vineyard in Prison, Visitation, Feeding the homeless, and other duties of the church. He is also the co-founder of “Fill My Cup Outreach Ministry”, along with his wife Rev. Lana Tull.
