Over a month of social distancing has prompted us to reminisce about our traveling days. Although we’ve all visited different cities and countries, we’ve also all visited our Asian roots and had similar experiences of misplaced cultural identity. Whether it’s domestic or international, with a friend or solo, a relaxing vacation or a jam-packed schedule, we cover our most memorable trips and we discuss where we hope to visit after quarantine is over.

Self-care is important, but even more so during these unprecedented times. In this episode, we reflect on how we’ve been staying sane and positive as we shelter in place. From maintaining routine to trying some new hobbies or sharpening a skill, we share our failed sourdough attempts, small triumphs, and favorite Netflix series to binge. We hope everyone out there is staying healthy and taking care! 

They say all good things come to an end—whether you believe this is true or not, we all experience breakups in our lives. Sometimes we fall out of love, or there are irreconcilable differences. Breakups can be dramatic or civil, one-sided or mutual, an ending to a romantic relationship or a platonic one. We explore how we’ve approached breakups, the aftermath, and what we’ve learned.

It's hard to go anywhere these days without a cell phone or computer... we're constantly plugged in. Especially living in Los Angeles in our 20's, it's nearly impossible to separate who we are on social media from who we are in real life. Welcome back to season 2 of Yappie Hour! We're so excited to be back and kick off this season discussing COLLEGE! College was truly a pivotal period in our lives where we all learned so much about ourselves. So much of what happened in college dictated where we are in our lives today.  We're taking the conversation back and covering everything from awkward freshman moments to if we think college is even worth it. And for anyone applying to college this year, we hope we can provide some clarity on what college is really like for a Yappie!

We also discuss what we find beautiful, physically and emotionally, and how we’ve even been influenced by societal beauty standards. We wrap up by exploring our own insecurities and how we’ve come to accept our beauty.

This week, we open up about our hopes for this year whether it be volunteering more or just focusing on improving ourselves.
