I was so happy to have one of my favorite power couples on the YaS Cast. Nicole and David Rubio are CRUSHIN it! Brent Hastey is the vice chairman on the board for the Yuba Water Agency (hopefully I got that right). He’s also the District Governor for Rotary District 5180. And he’s a Jeep guy. 

I enjoyed this conversation so much! We talk about some of the interesting history of the area, as well as some exciting possibilities for the future.  And of course we touch on the Yuba Water Agency and al the money it generates (it’s A LOT!) and some of the projects they work on to the benefit of the community. Lots of shared wisdom in this one!

This year was a milestone birthday - I turned 40! Lots of people plan big bashes for turning 40, but it's the Year of the Virus and we are all on lockdown. I absolutely LOVE my birthday, and I've had plenty of great ones throughout the years. This year was an exception.

Somehow my wife managed to give me the greatest birthday ever. It turns out people like hearing other people say wonderful things about them and I'm no different. From start to finish my birthday was full of kind words from friends and family, and a big part of those good words came from this episode Shiloh recorded throughout the day.

Bruce Helft is running for the North Yuba Water District Board. We had lots of water talk, we touched on what it's like running for office, and we touched on some of his experience that qualifies him for the position. He's a smarty-pants that has accomplished a lot and I really enjoyed the conversation!

What a fun one! I got my birth chart read AND I got a tarot reading! There was WAY more involved to it than I had realized and I really was digging' it all.

And towards the end we dipped in to aliens! Of course there is more too, but you'll have to give it a listen to discover all the gems. :)

Alec Flores was a young man hit by a drunk driver while walking to school. I did not know Alec or his family, but this is one of those events that hit me hard. Real hard.
