What a fun and inspiring convo with self-taught makeup artist Angie Cuevas!  Her journey into special effects and makeup has led her to work on movies and land acting gigs. She's also kind of a badass that used to do roller derby, she's rolled a Jeep (in a fun way), and now she's working on her own screenplay!

He's also an author, writing a book or two on...WATER! Which it's a good thing he's passionate about water because he's also running for the North Yuba Water District Board.

Megan Anderson is a leader in the community, and we had a really great conversation about race and policing within the community. What's it like to be black in Yuba-Sutter? What's up with local policing? And what's up with so much more!?

Rocki Raccoon is a former hobo (yes, she hopped on moving freight trains to travel!!), a current artist, and an all around badass. She makes glass "sculptures" *wink* and cool masks and she is an all-around badass. She shares stories of her travels back and forth to Sweden (she has dual citizenship), and stories of the interesting people and places she come across. She's a great person, and I'm happy to call her friend. Enjoy! 

I never would have thought coffee and gardening would have been two topics talked about when diving in to a conversation with ONOFF guitarist/singer Paulie O'Noff. I'm also totally on board with his "late bloomer" theory. We also talked about touring Europe and I got to hear a few stories of some of the famous musicians he's met. Drew Robertson isn't even 18 yet, but he's managed to purchase a vehicle, lawn care equipment, and a trailer for trash removal to start is own lawn care and trash haling business. If if it wasn't clear, he did this on his own with his own money. I was super impressed and you will be too. 

If you want to hear a story of a powerful (and empowering) woman traveling the world in her twenties, this is your chance. There were 3 or 4 moments throughout her travels where Jennifer was just flippin' badass. She's also a CEO, a mom, and a friend and I absolutely enjoyed this conversation.
